We are after your Crisp Packets please to fundraise for our climbing wall. In 2019 we are also part of the Co-op scheme, where part of your weekly shop is donated to local charities. If you shop there with a blue membership card it would help if you sign in online and choose us as one of your charities. Thank you!
The 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th November 2018 marks 100 years since the end of WW1, when a treaty was signed on Armistice Day. 1st Lightwater Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are learning what it was like by digging a replica World War 1 trench at our HQ. We started in June 2018 and finished in time for Remembrance Day, opening the gates to all the community on Sunday 11th November 3-6pm. Its a tough dig! But that helps us remember what our soldiers went through and leads us to discuss the importance of remembering all wars.
